依次显示魔术方块的六个面，可以根据以下步骤逐步进行。１．显示第一表面和第一层

２．转动面上的第二层
按上述步骤，第一层表面可显示出来。（即四边的最顶层）然后进行第二层。这时要把已完成的第一层倒过来，使"T"颠倒（如图）。有以下种方法调出第二层。

根据上述三个步骤可使顶面出现”＋”形状，尽量使四角的方块颜色与毗邻三面颜色一致。然而，颜色不一定处在所需位置，如发生一方块处于正确位置（颜色可能不是这种情况），如第３步的最后所述，这一角可用作参照点，根据箭头所示方向连用如下方法一或二改变其他三个角。

注：如有；两个或三个方块处于正确位置和颜色，必须重新调整以令一个处于正确位置。（留下其中之一于正角位置即可）然后根据第４步第二种所示方法转动其它方块。再根据第４步第一种所示方法转动。最后根据第５步第一种或第二种所示步骤进行。
要根据上述步骤进行，必须使魔术方块出现图例所示的形态。
